I operate a transparent charging policy and provide a personal service from your initial assessment, throughout your entire treatment with me. We will discuss your treatment plan, providing you with an estimate of the time that may be required to complete treatment, so that you can budget accordingly.

Insurance

The Hand Therapy Practice is recognised by many health insurance companies.

If you wish to use medical insurance to cover your costs your Consultant or GP will need to refer you to The Hand therapy Practice in order for you to get an authorisation number from your insurer.

If you require a splint or equipment, insurance companies will not cover the cost so you will be required to self-pay for splints, equipment and other products required for your rehabilitation.

Post-operative wound care will also incur additional costs for dressings and other materials used.

Home Visits

If you wish to have your treatment at home this can be arranged. The costs of these visits vary depending on your location and the treatment required. Please contact The Hand Therapy Practice to enquire what the cost maybe for treatment in your home or a location other than the Bridge Clinic.

Medico legal and Hand Assessment Reports

The cost of these assessments and reports varies depending on your requirements.

Payments

All invoices for treatments provided by The Hand Therapy Practice will be sent to you directly for settlement.

Cancellation

Please give 24 hours’ notice wherever possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Cancellation of appointments with less than 24 hours’ notice may incur a cancellation fee.
